Post subject:  Closes above/below an MA in the last 'X' amount of bars

Need some guidance here, I'm looking to play around with an indicator that judges strength in a more sideways or turning market. The idea being that once more closes start to happen above an MA, then the pair is strengthening. For example, as a filter for a long trade: More than half of the closes in the last 24 bars must be > 10 SMA.

I just made those numbers up as I obviously haven't tested them yet, but hopefully you get the point. Any help as to how to go about this would be much appreciated.

You cannot build that with the indicator builder - there is no way to tell it "More than half of the closes in the last 24 bars must be > 10 SMA". You can tell it if the current bar (or any bar) is > (or<) 10 sma
