 Post subject: question .. how to design an indicator first dervative

I would like to create the first and the second derivative of a moving average in two seperate windows.

The moving average seams to be a steady curve but the first derivative is not a steady curve ?
any suggestion ?

The first derivative will the the slope which does not look as smooth as the ma. Just remember that mt4 connects dots in 2 bars when plotting so you lose what is in the middle.
