I want to make a pivot indicator but I want it to take the information from the daily chart, not the chart the indicator will be on. How can I do that?

By default the indicator builder creates custom indicators for mt4 that work in any timeframe. (You can change this but you need some understanding if time frames in mt4 - Read http://docs.mql4.com/constants/timeframes and change the 0 in the indicator for the timeframe you want to use)
When you export them into the strategy builder, you select the timeframe that you want to use
Remember that in mt4 you cannot backtest multi timeframe indicator
