hi, I am just wondering if you can point me in the right direction to get started, i just want a simple alert possibly with sound, when a price (candle) closes above or below a certain MA

The current indicator builder does not have alerts. We will include them in the next release.
You can build an ea that alerts you with the strategy builder.
Just take the simple ma example (http://www.molanis.com/products/molanis ... rs-for-mt4) and then in the START icon change it to give you alerts. Go to the TA and edit it. It has a simple ma condition ma1>ma2 change to price (select the price that you need) > ma 2
