I can tell you from my own experience, you must have SB Pro. Using the Pro version, I just click Generate MQL4 Code and it automatically opens the mq4 file in MetaEditor. This feature is omitted on other versions.

For molanis related eas and indicators you need a pro version so get the code.
For indicators you find in the internet, if you only get the ex4, try to contact the author of the indicator to get the mq4 file

Your welcome. Note that if you've lost your mq4 source file, and you now need to convert your ex4 file back to mq4, the Molanis software is NOT a decompiler. Molanis only opens files created in Molanis (mol files), and generates ex4's and mq4's from there.
