molanisfx, cfx and all - I am placing this post here and on another thread I have been working on.

I am continuing to build the "test facility" as cfx calls it and will post results and questions as they come up.

Right now I want to let you know the problem with the mt4 back tester turned out to be a wrong value selected in the inputs tab in the EA and or EA builder. I changed the "CompletedBars" option to false and the back tester works just fine.

Since I set the EA to trade on completed bars in the EA Builder I assumed this value should be set to "true" but not so. I was just trying random changes in the EA Inputs tab, in the back tester, and found the problem.

Everyone here has been very helpful and I will continue to post problems and successes here!

I think you are trading every tick. If you want to trade bars, go to the start icon and change it to trade every bar

This indicator gives a numerical value every tick, so I do want to trade every tick.
