 Post subject: How to Test an Alert

I'm not able to get an alert to function when back testing. It won't work even when I use the EA you folks built as sample (19 MA Cross Alert).
So how does one go about the exercise of testing an alert?

If you mean from the Alert icon, the eaisest way is to use the print on logs or on chart option, and then look at the logs.
If it does not work for you maybe the trigger for the alert is not working. Post your .mol file and a complete description of the ea and we can take a look
