Hi Trying to enter the market a few pips past the previous bars low extreme. I have included the following code but doesn't work. Could you please advise? && (iLow(Symbol(),0,1)> MarketInfo(Symbol(),MODE_ASK)-0.0005)) The rest of the code is as per Molanis build. Thanks Dean |

Try using the mql icon with (iLow(Symbol(),0,1)> MarketInfo(Symbol(),MODE_ASK)+0.0005) You buy at the ask and not below it There could be issues with the logic since some Brokers require a minimum of 15 to 20 pips between the order and the market price You cannot really backtest it since you do not have the Ask price available for backtesting - you only have open,close,high and low - you may want to use open instead of ask |

Thanks for your reply. Didn't think about broker criteria. Could it be coded to enter at market once all conditions are met? therefore monitoring or running the EA each tick? |

To trade each tick there is an option in the START icon - still back test will not be reliable if you use ASK |
