Are you able to split +DI from -DI for an indicator builder? If so do you know the formula to enter into the indicator builder?

I would like to be able to use iADX in the EA Builder but I am not interested in the index, only +D and -D.

Use the Strategy Builder. On a TA block select Average Directional Movement Index - iADX. On Mode there are 3 options:
MODE_MAIN Base indicator line.
MODE_PLUSDI +DI indicator line.
MODE_MINUSDI -DI indicator line.

I have tried that, and for example when +DI is higher than -DI I set to buy but what happens is it continuiously buys for every bar when +DI is higher than -DI.

I have tried other combinations as well and what seems to happen is linking of orders between buying and selling. There does not seem to be a pause to assess the conditions then trade on a signal.

I may have a setting wrong.

On START make the max number of open positions to one. Verify that you don't trade on every tick.
+DI > -DI will give you lots of signals. You may add another TA with a second condition and use an AND.

I have added some other indicators and have achieved some small periods where no trading takes place. Because the difference is 'higher than' or 'lower than' the result can infinite until the next cross or merge with ADX.

I would like to see 'Cross' and 'Difference Of' added to the center selection. Periods cannot achieve the same although necessary and required.
