.ex4 and .mq4 not generated after trying to compile

Hi,

I've downloaded the samples .moi for the MT4 indicator builder. When I go to Indicator Diagram->Validate Diagram or Indicator Diagram->Generate MQL4 Code nothing happens as I cannot see any .ex4 files or .mq4 files for them. The MetaTrader Setup->Verify! passes.

I've setup broker's MT4 on both C:\Program Files and outside of Program Files with permissions set to Full Control for the MT4 directory as per http://www.molanis.com/support/faq#eagen1.

I'm using Pro version on Windows 7.

Please advise why nothing happens and where should I expect the .mq4 and .ex4 files. I assume this would be under the experts\Indicators directory of the MetaTrader path I've setup within Molanis Technical Indicator Builder for MT4.

When you generate the indicator, you should see a window that tells you where the indicator is located (it shows the whole path / directory). Do you see that message?
If you have a standard or demo license you won't get the mql file, only the compiled indicator under experts/indicators

I do not see any message at all. As I said above nothing happens. I am using the Pro version. I've checked the experts indicators directory of MT4 and the directory where the .moi files are located and unfortunately see no .mq4 and .ex4 files generated. Please advise.

After you go to trading diagram - you click on generate mql code
At that point if you have a pro version you should see a window with the code and a button that says create expert advisor for mt4
What happens after you click this button? You should get a message.
If you don't see anything, you need to run the software in debug mode. Contact us by email to tell you how to do that.

when I click this button nothing happens. I have emailed support.

I have not seen your email in the email queue
You can go to the installation directory and click on Debug.bat - a debug window will be shown. Use the software until you click the button. Then capture the content of the debug window and email it to us (do not post it here) - instructions on how to capture the content of debug can be found here: molanis.com/support/faq

I will try this and advise on how I go. Email had no subject line, by accident, and may have been spam filtered at Molanis end.

I have tried what was asked. Please see the attached 2 x images for the message when I click on Validate Diagram, and Generate MQL4 Code for 1 x license on Windows 7 32 bit. I also get the same behavior on my 2nd license copy on Windows XP 32 bit. Please advise

It's the first time I see that error. Can you please post the indicator file (.mol file)?
If you create a new indicator do you get the same behavior?
Is the error in xp exactly the same?
Do you have any issues in the strategy builder?

Did it work before - or you always had that issue?
