Hi, just need to confirm some info.

a) When does the trade automatically close the order? assuming a CL or CS is not in use, does the trade close when 1) the conditions of the order are no longer met or 2) when the opposite order conditions are met and an opposite trade is open?

Example 1) MACD is > 0 and the sell condition is MACD < 0 ... if MACD is greater trade opens. Does the trade close when MACD hits 0 or when the sell order is opened when MACD is < 0?

b) does the MT4 strategy builder include the ability for nested conditions?

c) is there a way to set default colours and chart properties for the indicators like making the slow ema white with a fast blue ema etc... or the chart from bars to candles ... pain is the neck to have to change them manually all the time and loading a template into a backtesting chart erases all the chart info created during the testing.

when the opposite order conditions are met, BEFORE the opposite trade is open. If you don't hedge, before going long the expert advisor closes shorts (and viceversa).

When MACD < 0, the order is triggered. Before sending the order to the server, the ea closes the opposite position. After that opens the new position.

Nested conditions are still not supported. We want to add it but there are better features like dynamic stops that will come before that (late this summer)

If you use mt4 standards indicators (not custom indicators), they will plot in a random color during backtesting. If you set the template, it should show your custom color. (that's the way mt4 works)

If you create the indicators with the indicator builder you can set the color.
