Hi there,

I have tried back-testing using the alert (not trade) option with sound...is there a way to pause the back-test when alert is hit...So I can manually observe bar by bar.

Also, the sound does not seem to play on the alert option in Start Icon parameters with sound ON

Our software generates normal eas - we do not have any control on the backtesting process, mt4 does the normal steps. This means that to stop it you hit the stop button
There are ways to add code to eas to stop the backtesting but we do not use that in our software
