Hi all, I have a strategy using 1hr and 5min charts. Execution of BUY or SELL is done in 5min chart. Attached is MOL file, please kindly help me check if I done it correctly. BUY Scenario in 1hr and 5min charts 1. [2] volume must be lower than [3] and [4] volume 2. [2] candle bar close must be lower than [3] candle bar close 3. [1] candle bar close must be higher than [2] candle bar high SELL Scenario in 1hr and 5min charts 1. [2] volume must be lower than [3] and [4] volume 2. [2] candle bar close must be higher than [3] candle bar close 3. [1] candle bar close must be lower than [2] candle bar low Can this EA be back test in MT4? If yes how would I do it? Thank you for your time

Review your > and < For example for volume your 2>3 (you write it like 3<2 which is 2>3) To test do not build the whole ea and try to test it, build one or two conditions and test them, them join them with another 2 that have been tested. Do one step at a time. You can backtest in mt4 just make sure you have data for all time frames and that you attach it to the lower time frame. For better multi frame backtesting use mt5. Mt4 is difficult for that. |
