Hi, I am uncertain of how to create a trading rule for the TA block.
i would like to, ie open a sell, on the opening of next bar, after 2nd paraboloc dot has appeared
On the TA block it has symbols for greater than or less than, are these suitable?
what would be required for the create trade rule? thanks Baz

Yes, you should use the TA block and the >,<,>=,<= symbols
If you look at the chart here http://ta.mql4.com/indicators/trends/parabolic_sar you will notice that the indicator is above the high or below the low price so basic conditons could be like:
psar < low then BUY
psar > high then SELL
Since you want the second dot, it gets more complex
psar with shift 2 > high with shift 2 AND psar shift 1 < low shift 1 gives you the signal that tells you when you change from sell to buy. To check the second dot:
psar with shift 2 > high with shift 2 AND psar shift 1 < low shift 1 AND psar shift 0 < low shift 0
