Hi Molanis,

I've been using EAs with TS settings (50 and 80) with no problem.
Now that I try using SL values nothing works. I keep getting the infamous "error 130 invalid stops".
I'm currently setting a 40 TP and 20 SL. I've tried combinations of higher TP and SL values (100 TP and 100 SL) and produce the same error message.
What's wrong?
Regards.

Please post your strategy .mol file to look into it.
Which broker do you use?
Check if it's an ecn or power by Boston Tech. With those brokers the order are send first and the limits later - you can set up this in the START icon (orders include...)

Hi Molanis,

You were right. When I set the OrderIncludeTPSL variable to "false" everything went back to normal.
Thanks for the tip.
Regards.

Hi Molanis,

My broker is InstaForex. How do I tell whether they are ECN or powered by Boson Technology?

Tks

No idea. You may ask them.
If you send a normal order with tp and sl and is not rejected it is not an ecn

It has been rejected but not all the time. Alright I will ask them.

QUESTION - If the OrderIncludeTPSL is set to FALSE, but the TPSL is set, and it is an ECN broker, upon a successful entry the EA will instal the TPSL followingly? Like as in 250 miliseconds later?

QUESTION - If set to FALSE does it work for non-ECN brokers?

Thank you.

There is no way to know for sure how long it takes. It depends on the server speed.
Yes you can use it with non ecn but it is not recommended

RE: "NOT RECOMMENDED" for non-ECN.

Could u kindly perhaps elaborate how issit 'NOT RECOMMENDED" . Can I have some more info on this. Technical info? Downsides of OrderSendIncludeTPSL at False on a non-ECN?

I am running 11 Trading Account from my laptop. Each of the account has 7 EAs. In essence all 77 EAs are different due to their unique Magic Numbers. I learnt this from you :). I have been operating the 77 EAs successfully.

But once in a while the "Invalid Stops" message occur with 1 or 2 trades out of 20. I am with InstaForex. InstaForex claim they are ECN while others say they are not. This is a very ambiguous situation. But I have been trading succesfully with OrderSendInclTPSL set to True.

My Broadband is of the highest plan and my laptop is running on 3Gig RAM. But as stated earlier 1 or 2 trades out of 20 the error message will occur.

I feel like changing the True to False to see if i can eradicate the error and its a tedious task with 77 EAs.

Before I proceed with this tedious change I wud appreciate it very much if I can know more about "NOT RECOMMENDED" . I have the PRO BUILDER and can learn new things from you codewise?

Thank you.
