Hi,
I'm new to Molanis, have been struggling with programming my own EA's - so i'm looking forward to seeing if this can help.

My question - when programming ea's - i like to use a strategy that only looks at the first tick of a new bar, then rests for the remainder of the bar. I'm usually coding on a 1 minute timeframe so i figure i'm not losing too much opportunity. The reason for this is during optimization, i don't want to waste so much time with the every tick mode on MT4 strategy tester.

So - is there a way in Molanis - to only look at the opening tick of each bar? or must I create the ea and then modify the code on my own later?

In the START icon, you can select between ticks and bars. Use bars (Set execution mode to completed bars) - the trading conditions are evaluated on the first tick of every bar.
