Chaps,

I have a long only EA and a Short only EA on two seperate charts of the same security. Wanted to confirm if they can run simultaneously, I.e. in the event the the short only EA triggers a trade while an existing long position is open, will they cancel each other out?

Many thanks,

John

It really depends on the setup and the broker
Do you hedge?
If you setup the eas with different magic numbers they could be independent - they will work if you hedge.
If you want them to cancel out you need to use the same magic number. You need to test them to see how they work.
Most of the time is better just to have one ea
