How to use indicator with MA applied

Hello Everyone,

Here is a screen shot of Standard Deviation indicator with a moving average applied to it using "previous indicato'rs data" select in the "Apply to:" field (red line is the MA):

Does anyone know the best way to use this indicator with the MA applied to it in Strategy Builder. Can I do this in in SB itself? Can I build this in Technical Indicator Builder? Do I need to have a custom indicator built for me?

Please point me in the right direction.

That option only works directly on mt4. To do the same you need to rewrite the indicator to do that calculation, and then import the indicator in the strategy builder

Can I do this with your indicator builder or do I need to have a custom indicator made by a coder?

You need a coder to use this http://docs.mql4.com/indicators/imaonarray
That command calculates the ma of an input - so you need to make the indicator the input

Yes you can use the indicator builder if you want the average of an indicator. You use the advanced option Average (similar to ima on array).
