Post subject:  Specific timeframe Hi Low EA

Hi. Hoping somebody with a little more knowledge can help me out here!

I am currently trying to create an EA for MT5 with the following conditions:

1. The EA can identify the High and Low of a 6 hour period from 0000 to 0600 GMT,
2. Trading can only be within the time of 0700 to 1300 GMT,
3a. If the current price is equal to the high (within above trading hours) a long order is made,
3b. If the current price is equal to the low (within above trading hours) a short order is made,
4. Should either of the above orders be made, the opposite order is automatically cancelled.
5. Looking to have a simple 20 pip SL & TP

I'm useless at creating EAs so any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to get point 1 from a custom indicator. You cannot build it with the current version.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is this possible with the Molanis CI Creator? All I seem to be able to create with high/lows is a moving line - I'm looking for the high and low from a set timeframe which would show 2 straight lines as support/resistance.

It's not possible with the current version. We already have a TIME icon for the MT4 option that will add to the MT5 version before year end.
