Hey, i wanted to set up a MTF EA based on three different TF but it seems that metatrader doesn't allow this. It worked with two TF but as soon as I add another one, even backtesting is not possible anymore. After clicking the "start" button it immediatly stops. May this be caused by the third TF? Thanks so far! |

MT4 Backtesting was designed for one timeframe at a time. You cannot backtest MTF eas (2 or more timeframes). Whatever you get if you do is not reliable. |

MT5 is still in development. Backtesting need more work like the visual backtesting. Your question would be better answered at mql5.com |
