Hey,

i wanted to set up a MTF EA based on three different TF but it seems that metatrader doesn't allow this. It worked with two TF but as soon as I add another one, even backtesting is not possible anymore. After clicking the "start" button it immediatly stops.

May this be caused by the third TF?

Thanks so far!

MT4 Backtesting was designed for one timeframe at a time. You cannot backtest MTF eas (2 or more timeframes). Whatever you get if you do is not reliable.

MT5 is still in development. Backtesting need more work like the visual backtesting.
