I can't find anything in the manual about the close long/short icons. In my mol file, I thought I could get a long/short position to close if the price was below/above the 50 sma. How am I supposed to connect the close short/long icon as I have errors in my ea?

First of all, those long names for eas may create issues. It's better to keep it simple. The CL and CS icons receive connections from TA, or AND, or OR; and connect to END. When you click on validate, big Xs are shown where errors are found. If you put the mouse coursor on top of the X it will tell you the error. In you expert advisor you did not define the settings for CL / CS - you need to tell the icon what pair should be used - just leave it in current symbol Also you are posting in the MT5 forum, you should review the set up and report in the MT4 forum if you have any issues |
