I would like to clarify something, if I choose to use the % risk option under
the START Icon do I need to set any other parameters in the BUY/SELL
Icons.

No. The lot size will be adjusted automatically. However if the new lot size is lower than the minimum accepted by the server, the minimum will be used (otherwise you won't trade).
